One of the purposes of the Finnish Sauna Society is to promote research pertaining to the Finnish sauna, allocate grants for studying and promoting sauna culture, and gather information and observations about saunas. The Society has its own library at Vaskiniemi, containing extensive material on saunas.
The Society provides support to sauna-related research and sauna culture through grants. The Executive Committee awards grants twice a year, based on applications and the Research and Culture Committee’s proposal. You can find the grant criteria by following the link below.
